HUGHES/THRALL REMASTERED?!
[January 03, 2006] Probably the first Glenn Hughes scoop in the new year, and a good one! The classic album Hughes/Thrall is likely to get a remastered release later this year. The unique blend of pop & rock, originally recorded in 1982 by Glenn Hughes (vocals & bass) & Pat Thrall (guitars) is currently being prepared for release on the British Rock Candy Records label for release in May 2006. Rumour has it that the remastered album contains some previously unreleased music as well.

I haven't heard that album in at least 15 years but I still have one of Hughes most amazing vocal performances burned into my brain. It's a little on the mellow side, but a remaster might bring the guitars more to the front. Either way, the songs are very well written and Hughes kills. Thrall ain't bad on guitar either.
