hum, don`t know ...

yep...and i'm really missing the different sections, like gear/musicians talk/general nevermore etc....
PLUS i'm missing the old posts!!!!! like, basically anything jeff posted over the time :D

Well folks, it is what you make it! To be honest, I really don't miss the old forum. That thing had more problems than you even know about.
What I do miss is seeing people interact on here, bringing their thoughts and whatnot to the table, and also trying to ask me a few more questions!(All of which I have seen everyone run away from, seemingly afraid that someone will see and berate your post? What are you afraid of? You do this already on the Nevermore forum!) Sorry, gotta be honest. And, the name on the forum is? I thought you were here for me?

I've just been spending too much time at the Sneap forum, trying to learn how to not sound like I had my demos produced and mixed by deaf leprechauns.

While we're here, Steve, I had sent an e-mail a while back asking about guitar lessons, and haven't gotten a response (and if one was sent I'm finding I've had a number of messages dropped due to a particularly idiotic e-mail provider)... are these anywhere approaching remotely possible? I don't live near SF so I had been hoping that something over the internet might be possible - any thoughts?

sorry, didn't mean it that way. it's just that on the old forum jeff posted a few interesting things especially regarding early nevermore stuff...somewhat like a nevermore archive, you know ;)

other than that:
Don't worry, we all still love you.
+1 :worship: :worship: :worship:

Im online here like... 24/7. ROFL, Really I dont have a life except my computer and the internet forums I browse all day. Oh and guitars to... anyway, yes its been a bit dead on this forum lately.

I check here every hour when I'm not in class and every half hour when I am (not very interesting classes...) but I don't see an awful lot going on. I was only on the old forum for a few weeks before we got switched, so I don't know a whole lot about what that one was like, but... the only constantly updated thread I see is the gear page and there's not quite so much going on here compared to even a couple of weeks ago. Methinks we need a DVD and more GW columns to talk about, unless those do come around and everyone's still silent this may just be a bit of a slump in the general activity around so we'll see.

Jeff

Hey guys!
I love you guys too!
Noumenon, check out my update from last week, should get ya updated!
JBroll, I have receieved hundreds of emails in reagrds to this, and am sorry for not getting back to you, but for everyone who is reading this for now, who is intersted in lessons; I have decided to finish The EssenEss Proejct album first, and then get the internet lessons established! Hang tight! I'm getting to it, but it's tough to do all this on my own! We're getting it done though, folks!
Fragle, understood. I wish I could have kept that forum up, but there were FAR TOO MANY HEADACHES and problems dealing with that forum, and this being larger, and more hassle free, has become the new home for my forum. I wish we could keep/bring back at least a few of those threads, archive them here, just not sure if we can do that. If you guys ask Ms. A about it, she would have the answer.
Seedawakener, understood.
Moonlapse, damn, I gotta go check out Andy's forum a little more often myself! ha ha!
I'll try and get on here a little more often guys, hope to see you here too.
~Steve:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I can understand - it's enough of a pain in the ass trying to do two-minute demos and having to reset mics after jumpy little munchkinfucks keep knocking the things off-axis, I'm not going to try to think about recording a serious project until I have 3/4 of the day to spend on it and no distractions whatsoever. Good luck, man.

Jeff

Hahaha, I'll try to post here more Steve! Most of the time I just troll the forum reading what other people post, but I promise to help out and be a little more active around here :p

Hey JBroll,   Good one! Not sure about the munchkins, and who they are, but if you've seen 'em, them little artesians....right there in the water....you need to stop drinking son!
In all seriousness though, as I am giving this album 250% right now, I wouldn't be giving all of myself to teaching again. I have been a teacher for 20+ years, and having this little "break" of sorts has freed me to get this album done. I've got plenty of ideas and plans on what I will do with teaching next, and I hope that you'll be on the receiving end of it, brother!
Frets,
Good to see you on here man! Post away man!
Funny thing, people.....you say this forum is dead, and now look at what this thread has done!:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I think this little feature could work: http://web.archive.org

You web geeks out there would know what to do with it, as far as figuring out if any the old forum is salvagable for archiving.

I sent you an email, as well, as you asked after the first tour and I figured you being busy and hearing about getting renal failure put a halt on everything, so there was no sense in taking time away from your health. You only get one chance at life. I'm sure the project will turn out to be an incredible album. :)

Its not too much diffrent from the old forum. even back at the old one there'd be lull's when no one was posting anything. Give it a few days or a week or two and it'll kick back up, just like at the old forum. Persomally I did prefer the old one because the catagories were broken up. Its basically the same here, just with a little less organizaton.

The munchkins are actually a younger sibling and the various friends he has over who have not yet learned the subtle art of not jumping around and ruining people's shit by smashing it through various parts of the architecture. I'd love to stop drinking, but I'm not sure if I can because I haven't actually started yet...hmm...

Can't wait to hear the album, lessons can certainly wait (I may also end up giving Ron Jarzombeck a call, he's in SA last I checked).
