I didn't care for the whole Into The Abyss album. Execpt of course Fire In The Sky. What an amazing song!! One of their best ever.

imo there are some of the best songs hypocrisy ever wrote are on into the abyss ...

blinded, legions descend, deathrow and (of course :D ) fire in the sky, just to mention some ...

it's a pity that the album's produciton sounds a little bit overloaded sometimes ...
the drums could be a bit clearer

ntl,
it's a fucking amazing record :headbang:

the last two or three songs on Abducted are a bit silly i always thought - and there's one or two silly ones on the final chapter too and a lot of the new cd is dodgy IMO.

Favourite songs - Adjusting the Sun, Paradox, Osculum, Penetralia

ADJUSTING THE SUN is one of my favourites too :headbang:

two silly ones on the final chapter?!?

uhm .... LIES and EVIL INVADERS? ;)
if i had to choose 2 songs off TFC i don't like THAT much, it would be these 2 ... but fuck it, TFC rulez :headbang:

I'm not the biggest fan of the first two albums, but mainly because I don't really like that guys voice.

If I had to pick one song though... I don't know, I can't think of one that I dislike, probably one of the Into the Abyss songs would qualify as a least liked though. :)

the only thing i dislike bout INTO THE ABYSS is the production, but the whole material is really amazing ;)
(BLINDED ... luv that one :headbang: )

@first 2 albums

MASSE BROMBERG kicked some serious ass :D
what is he doing today?

Not that Into the Abyss wasn't good, it's just that that style of death metal is not what I like to hear from Hypocrisy, I prefer the more... not melodic so much as atmospheric I guess.

Masse Bromberg (sp?) I would have liked when I first got into death metal ten years ago or so (ironically about when the material was released, I just didn't know about Hypocrisy then), but I have since grown accustomed to multi-faceted death metal voices over the years and don't enjoy the one-sided voices too much anymore.

Considering the time period though, yes, a great voice.
