Watched this on video tonight (TV movie made for VH1).

It's pretty good! Extremely well cast too, except for Joe Elliott. The others were just like the real band members... especially Rick Allen, Steve Clark and Rick Savage!

Interesting little movie. Wroth checking out :)

It is just about the band between 1977-1987 and the problems they encountered and had to overcome before they pulled through and did Hysteria. Had me glued to the screen anyway hehe.

You're not talking about The Classic Album thingy are you Trent?

It was on SBS last Thursday and was very good.

It wasn't on TV, it was on video Aussie... I'm not talking about the Classic Albums thing.. I missed that unfortunately :(

I'm talking about the TV movie made about Def Leppard called "Hysteria: The Story Of Def Leppard". It's a proper drama film with actors playing Def Leppard, about the rise of the band in the late '70s/early '80s and then their ups and downs in the early-mid '80s before they came back with Hysteria.

Great little movie :)

It's a TV movie made for VH1 or MTV or something in 2001. I remember reading about it a couple of years ago on some hard rock sites when they were making it but didn't have MTV or VH1 or whatever to watch it.

My sister stumbled across it in the new releases in the video store so she hired it :)
