Yes, I’ve bought a drum kit. I know, I know, why? Why did you do it?? You’re a guitarist, don’t go to the forces of evil!

Sheesh, what an idiot! I’m now embarking on my quest to become a dual instrumentalist and would like some tips from people who know anything about drums.

Also, I’m still unsure as to why I’ve done this. I think it’s because I’ve always gotten into drumming more so than any other instrument, even guitar oddly enough. My list of favourite metal drummers is probably bigger than my guitarist list.

Gene Hoglan (You name it, he’s been in it.)
Sean Reinert (Mainly his Cynic work.)
Richard Christy (I like his drumming best in Burning Inside)
Peter Wildoer (Darkane)
Adrian Errlandson (At The Gates)
Asgeir Mickelson (Spiral Architect and Borknagar)

hehe cool! i fiddle around with a drum kit too, im fuckin hopeless at double kicks though.....but i dont really try to hard as i dont really want to be a drummer, im a fuckin bass player!!!!!
