driving back to CT tonight and right when i was feeling like i needed to stop or else fall asleep i turned on the radio and dee was doing his halloween edition of the house of hair and these were the songs he played in a row:

i am not sure as i have been out of CT for 3-4 years now. but i remember when it started up when i was in high school and it was the "alternative" radio station.

It was up until a month or two ago

Although in southwest CT around january this year there was an underground metal show on 90.3 late at night, although I think it was a HS or college station.
