A bunch of dudes in white robes and silly masks ripping off Immortal and writing 10 songs about coldness, chilliness, being frozen, snow, ice, cryogenics, frost, hypothermia and so forth. Nearly constant really fast blastbeats without any sense of song dynamics, silly fictional lyrics and competently executed boring standard issue 1A tremolo riffs that go nowhere. "Apocalyptic Blizzard Regime" is probably the best song here, featuring several different tempos, drum patterns and riff styles, something that is missing from most of the rest of the record. This never really descends into the realm of the truly bad, but the glimpses of quality don't do anything to save this from being totally redundant in the end.

Battles in the North -- often imitated, never duplicated!

Its pretty funny that they are from Maryland too. It was kind of amusing the first time I heard it, but I agree its not something id spend money on.
