i finally finished building the videogame i've been working on for 3 months

the problem being, none of my friends can download it from me because it's 30something MB zipped and i don't have that much space on UM.com, BC.edu, or yahoo.

crap!! i guess i need hosting for my domain. any suggestions for something cheap? i won't have a lot of traffic or anything.

I'd love to check this out man. Did you build it using something like the RPG Maker or is this something you did from scratch. I'm guessing it's a RPG from what you posted in another thread. Either way let me know.

yes, i used RPGmaker! if you want you can certainly play it, but it's really rife with in-jokes among my group of friends--you probably wouldn't "get" half of the game. but if you wish, IM me any time after 6pm and i'll trans it to you.

You don't need any unix knowledge to make it work. They even have a web console from where you can do anything that you would like. The WS-FTP portion is just as easy.

webmasters.com looks good too. Only $9.95 a month with no setup fee!

it can take up to 3 days for the DNS to propigate everywhere, but that's it
