ok, so Reviving Ophelia is a (really informative) psychology book about teenage girls, and this high-school JAP decided that people needed to hear "the unfiltered voices of teenage girls" and came out with this book, which is a compilation of teenage girls' diaries. so you can imagine it's incredibly shittily written and really maudlin (in a bad way) and generally whiny ("being a woman in america today is harder than it ever was! everyone hates women!" --Erica, age 13)
it did notably have a testimony by a girl named Willow who talked about chatting with her dreamboy all night long on the Internet and his love for Swedish music, though.
