Several months back i started going to local punk concerts. (I'm from a Toronto, On suburb) I started going because my friend likes that kind of s***. The problem with Toronto is that metal concerts are rare and punk shows are almost daily events. Here is what i noticed...
The music in the most part is god-awful, talentless, unoriginal trash. I mean the bands can't tune their guitars or play them for that matter. It's all pretty much recycled early British punk of the Sex Pistols veriety. It's totally sub-par bulls**t that makes Good Charlot and Hilary Duff seem like musical geniuses.
The people that regularly frequent these shows are mainly the smelly old punks with their stupid looking hair and unclean clothes. I seriously doubt that they wipe their asses after thay s**t. They tend to give me dirty looks because i am not one of them. Whatever, I hope they all die of an overdose. There are also the usual skinheads, but they can stick their swaskitas up their asses.
I'm not done yet. The women that go are damn ugly. They look cracked out and syphilized. Probbably because they f**k pan handlers and window washers. Out of all the shows I've seen, there have been only two girls that were clean and pretty. One is my friend, that drags me out to the shows; and I used to go out with the other one.
Is the punk scene like that in every city? Or only in Toronto? Toronto is the breeding ground for worthless music.
