So out with the GuitarPort and us-122 and in with something badass! 
Right now I am using Cubase SX3 with various VST instruments and plug-ins so I'm covered in the software department. My computer rig is a 3ghz pentium, 512mb ram (will be upgraded to 2gb's soon) dedicated SATA 7200rpm HD and dual screens. Guitar rig conists of several guitars with a custom one in the making, peavey rockmaster/classic 60 power amp rack setup (planning on a VHT 2/50/2 later in the year) runing out of a genz benz g-flex 212. My styles cover various forums of metal to electronica with godspeed type stuff thrown in there.

What should I get/not get while keeping me in my price range. Also, factor in cables and stands and any other misc. gear I might need.
