$280 copayment + $400 for anesthetics, which isn't covered under my insurance. What the fuck is the point of having fucking dental insurance!?!?!?

Somebody give me some twine and a bank vault, this'll only hurt for a minute...

Ick! Teeth removal is a pain. Why not put it off for longer to see if it ever bothers you.

I got mine removed about.. a year ago. It make me sick. But my insurance covered it all. hate me. yes.

Man, you get the sweetest painkillers afterwards. Ask for Oxycocet. MMMMMM! Also you get morphine, at least I did. AND! I paid nothing =)

AND I GOT TO KEEP THEM!

Mine are actually cutting through my gums right now. They dont hurt much, so Im just gonna let it go. I only have three. We have this wierd thing in our family where only three of them develop. Its odd. I can feel one sticking through the gum with my tongue......now.

Oh gross. The wife needed to get some dental work done and they told her they'd need to dislocate her jaw to get it done. Fuck that. Went to another dentist and they just did the job nice and sweet. It's always worth getting a second opinion.

I had all four wisdom teeth removed in one go. They were all cutting through, and when I ate, I kept biting the inside of my cheeks. (The ones in my mouth). The dentist was a fucker, he practically put his foot on my chest and pulled the cunts out.

ANd painkillers? I got fucking tylenol pm. Damn dentists - they all suck, and you know they all have to be sadistic fuckers. The whole thing cost $2000 but my insurance picked it up.

MetalAges nailed it. When I got mine removed, the majority of the costs were covered under dental insurance and the rest was covered on my medical insurance.

My wife has to have a freak wisdom tooth removed, but it is so high up in her jaw that she will have to go to an oral surgeon to get it removed, so the costs could be enormous, unless insurance covers it all.

I never needed them to be taken out. But seriously, WTF is the point of having dental insurance, like NAD said, if they don;t cover this shit? It makes absolutely NO sense. I'm fucking dumbfounded!!! THAT'S BULLSHIT!

I was bed ridden for a week and a half after mine. I couldn't eat, the act made me nauseous. I had 6 removed, some very high up, they had to dislocate my jaw to get to some of them. Unfortunately my mom didn't get a second opinion, but the guy loved to give pain meds! I had a 2 week supply of percodan, but I started to feel shitty while taking them, I had no desire to eat because I couldn't smoke any ganja... That shit fucking sucked! Was so week one day I fainted after taking a piss and fell into the shower, my brother had to come get me out...

3 months later, I had braces put in and 4 completely healthy teeth removed from my mouth... OUCH MOTHERFUCKER!!!! Missed a standardized test becasue of that one and ended up in a homeroom class full of mentally challenged people and total fuckups for the second semester of the year.

Right so here's the thing, my wisdom teeth have been all the way in for like 6 years now. No impaction, no crazy pain, nothing. Once or twice a year I bite my cheek and then that part of my mouth gets swollen so I bite it again 14 times in 2 days, but I can live with that. They don't even push into my teeth, I still have the same huge food catcher gaps between the same teeth I've had since I was 10. Why do I have to get them removed? Because they are causing the molars in front of them to get cavaties. That's not wise! I'll look into the medical insurance thing, but at this kind of cost I think I'll just get the cavities filled. If the O Teeth So Wise start fucking my shit up bad, then I'll do it.

PS: health coverage in the US is a fucking JOKE, this is just one more example. That Simpsons episode where they go to get prescription drugs in Canada was on the other night, brilliant.

PiSs: HarmonyDies.... didn't you give your teeth to someone on the Kayo Dot board? :tickled:

It's the word "cunts" used by a Brit. Shit is just funny man, especially in a completely obtuse context. He also says "cunting" a lot, which is making me crack up right now just thinking about it.

"Mmm that's good satire!"
