Woods of Ypres New CD - After waiting 18 months since the "Against the Seasons" demo, I am very excited to announce the recording of Woods of Ypres' new CD will begin on the morning of Good Friday, April 9th at Spectre Sound in Tecumseh, Ontario (just outside of Windsor).

Woods of Ypres' second recording entitled "Pursuit of the Sun & Allure of the Earth", will be a HUGE, all-new, full length, summer themed album of dark black metal, bright acoustic passages and powerfull doom!




Tracks will include:



The Looming of Dust in the Dark (and the Illumination), The Will to Give, The Sun was in My Eyes, Allure of the Earth, Shedding the Deadwood, Dragged Accross a Forest Floor, Summer's Envy + more.



"POTS&AOTE" will be released on Woods of Ypres' own KRANKENHAUS RECORDS ("Krankenhaus" being the German word for Hospital :) ), pressed, packaged and available just in time for the Northern Lights Festival, June 26th in Toronto, Ontario (see www.unrestrainedmag.com/nlf).

Erik did a rather good review of their Against the Seasons demo for RC. Certainly WoY are an underground, self-financed band that deserve the support considering the quality of said release.

How labels aren't salivating at the mouth to sign them (or at least distribute on their behalf) is beyond me.
