I just finished an interview with Armored Saint / Fates Warning (Seven Witches, OSI, Anthrax, etc) bassist Joey Vera. It will air next Friday Night/Sat. Morning (May 15th) at midnight EST at www.cjam.ca - he had a lot of interesting things to say about Armored Saint, Fates Warning and the other projects he's been involved in over the years.

I don't want to give anything away but he confirmed a major announcement from one of the bands he's in. :worship:notworthy

BTW: I also interviewed Rolf Nyland, the drummer of Winterstrain which made for a VERY entertaining interview. Winterstrain remind me of Dream Theater meets Journey, with Tony Mills on backing vocals. That interview will air this Friday.

Other likely and pending interviews include David Readman of PC69 and Olaf Hayer of Luca Turilli / Dionysus.

NOTE: You can listen to the interview here.

Just in case we can't listen to it, a brief transcription will be great afterwards :D

Cool - can't wait to hear/read about it. Also can't wait to see the Saint in L.A. on the 28th! :kickass:

Cool....... waiting for a new Fates release. They are a quality band. I will be interested to see what he said about that. It has been six years since a FW release I think.

He talked about that show. If I have it correct, it's their only show of the year.

Yup. Should be a great show. I get the feeling his big announcement is going to involve FW since the Saint are seemingly going to be on the down-low after this one-off show...but who knows? :err:

Well since I'm awake at 7 AM on a Saturday I might as well listen to the show live...

Sounds good so far. Joey Vera is always a good interviewee, as is John Bush by the way.
