I was just about to start a thread congratulating Hoser. Great image. Here's a question for the artist: Which band besides Opeth would you most like to design a booklet for?

Thanks everybody! I was especially hoping you guys all like it (the opinions of my fellow Opethians meant the most to me in this particular project).

Jo hooked me up with Mark to make the image. A sense of Travis Smithyness was pretty intentional, seeing as his art represents a lot of the bands on the forum (Opeth, Nevermore, Katatonia, Anathema...) and is identifiable with UM in general, having a forum here himself.

Demonspell - my honest answer would be Thales. If all goes according to plan, (and they still want me to do it) the cover and booklet for the first Thales album will be my best work yet. Although, I must admit I have no idea what it would be...

Incidentally, I think if I did do an album cover for Opeth, I'd want it would just be a picture. No logo, no other art. Again, the morningrise cover just meant so much to me... although I think with Opeth's progression, that's representative of an era gone by, and wouldn't fit now. I'm looking forward to seeing what Mr. Smith comes up with for the dual albums, if that goes ahead. How will he link them visually?
