Since I found you... I watch your videos first thing with my morning coffee every day! ...it's kind of my inspiration for the day.

I must find a way to see a show and meet you!

Thanks a gazillion!

:yow:

Depending on your geographical position,it could be either piece of cake or mission impossible! :tickled:

I'm over on the east coast in the mountains of West Virginia. If they get within a 6 hour drive on a weekend, I'm there! ;)

Today I may need 2 doses of inspiration! :bah:

Take me away Maidens!

I know this thread is silly. I still like it.

I'm a single/widowed dad. My son is 10. I work 12 hour shifts at a job I mostly don't like but I'm thankful to have. I spend days off cleaning house and doing laundry. There are fun times, but a lot of work.

One thing my son and I always have is music. We have plenty of other nice things but we find a lot of good times in music. We both play guitar ...rather badly I might add. It's fun and awesome though. We hack up The Stones, Bad Company, Ozzy, and AC/DC mostly. We're not up to Iron Maiden yet. Someday I hope :D

Anyway I'm over here in the mountains and I get to live a bit watching you maidens rock on! I love seeing your photos and videos, so keep them coming! Watching you all and hearing grand stories makes me practice harder and motivates me to keep working on a rock star body. lol. Guy bands just can't give me that. They have talent but well... they just aren't much to look at ...at least in my eyes. ;)

I know I struggle with guitar doing my hacking around. It's neat to think of all the hours and all the fun you've put in to get where you are. I admire that. I don't want anything you're not already giving. I'm just babbling putting off going to work I guess. I think for the first time I can understand why guy bands always get the girls. lol.

Just keep rockin' and keep posting! When you're rich and famous, try not to forget us guys stuck home doing laundry. :p

Love ya for it! :worship:

It's really good that you're finding the Maidens so inspiring. However, try not to post too many silly comments tho - that gets viewed as spamming if you do it too much. Other posts like your last one are much more interesting to read. If you find a particular video or photo interesting, why not post it in here and share it with us. :D

And welcome to the boards.

I tried to keep it to a single thread so as not to spam. I didn't know it was the same to make some noise daily. I'm not sure how to post video and links here yet. When I get a day off or a little free time I'll check into it. Youtube is the best! What you can't find under The Iron Maidens you can find under Nita and Courtney. Probably my favorite is Aces High at NAMM. Nita and Courntey are just going off on guitar and out of nowhere awesome vocals come in like by surprise. I don't know if it was a surprise or not but it was hella cool. Guess what Iron Maiden tune I want to learn to play first? :p There's one cool video that makes me laugh because it sounds like Arnold Schwartzenager is cheering. Lol.

There's just too much cool stuff going on to say it all. I wish I lived in a town where there was a rock scene. Talk of this South American tour makes me jealous. I want to be a rock star too! Lol.

I can't wait for high quality recordings and video. In the mean time I enjoy the candids. ;)

To watch high quality Maidens videos, find John Meanor's channel on YouTube. His username is "turbowm".He is the sound engineer in the Ovation Showroom in Vegas, and he has THE best audio quality Maidens videos on YouTube. And don't forget to subscribe him, because the girls fairly regularly plays in Vegas, and when they do it,John will have more videos!

Hey thanks a lot for this :)

I knew if I hung around long enough I'd learn something ;)

Wow I'm up trying to get my head right. Long night at work. Need coffee! I have 2 whole hours to use for myself before I go back. Sheesh! Well... time to go hunting for these nice Iron Maidens videos mentioned above, play a little guitar, and then watch the videos while I run on my elliptical machine of death.

See how this inspiration thing works :p

Oh, and in case you haven't figured it out, I'm a friendly dude. I like conversation and learning new things. Know something cool? Spill it! ...bored and wanna talk? I'm in!

I'm home from work. Tired and going to bed.

What's more cool stuff I can check out when I wake up?

Where do budding guitar players hang out and learn all things metal on the web? I like to jabber

Checking in from WV.

I can't imagine getting to go on tour like The Iron Maidens. It has to be so cool.

Today is my son's 11th birthday. I bought him a LAG guitar. Maybe someday he'll be on tour and take me ;)

I don't know anything about South America or touring... So The Maidens will be off the grid until they get back?

I hope they have safe travels and lots of fun :)

I'd still appreciate some info on cool forums or sites where beginner/intermediate guitar flunkies hang out and shoot the breeze. Any input?

This thread seems kind of quiet. I guess I live in a place where folks still wave at each other as they pass. There's good and bad in it. I imagine big city life is much different. Makes for interesting conversation anyway. Be careful of the friendly guy who waves at everybody. :loco:
