Obviously, emergencies do occur...but seriously, texting through three songs? This guy should have saved his $$ and stayed home.

People that text during shows are annoying, but that was funny when Bruce called him out.

I had a book because I had to wait in line at the 9:30 club and I was going by myself. I needed something to occupy myself while I waited. The problem with books is that they sit there tempting you to read them.

I don't mind the occasional thirty second hey-where-are-you-bring-me-a-beer text, but it bugs me when someone's tapping away through an entire show, especially if they're on the floor and up towards the front. It's disrespectful to the band, not to mention to the people behind who might like to be closer to the stage...
