what happened was, where you plug the cord into the guitar at the bottom of the base, there was only 1 screw holding that little square on. well, when i pulled the cord out of the guitar, the cord stayed in the square thing and pulled out a round metal thing with a blue wire attached to it, which was on the underside of the plug in.

i was wondering if this is fixable, and if so, how? lemme know asap, as this is my brothers guitar and i probably have about a half hour before i die...:erk:

sound like you may have broken a wire in the jack. In that case it will have to be resoldered. Its not a major thing and your brother shouldn't kill you over it (unless you wernt allowed to touch the guitar in the first place)
