i need help fixin a guitar

LTD EX-351D.

what happened was, where you plug the cord into the guitar at the bottom of the base, there was only 1 screw holding that little square on. well, when i pulled the cord out of the guitar, the cord stayed in the square thing and pulled out a round metal thing with a blue wire attached to it, which was on the underside of the plug in.

i was wondering if this is fixable, and if so, how? lemme know asap, as this is my brothers guitar and i probably have about a half hour before i die...

you just got to screw that plate back on, and pull the cord out

i put the plate back on, however when i plug the chord in and turn the amp on it wont play on acoustic. when i turn the distortion on the amp on, it just gives static. i will try again, thanks.

sound like you may have broken a wire in the jack. In that case it will have to be resoldered. Its not a major thing and your brother shouldn't kill you over it (unless you wernt allowed to touch the guitar in the first place)

Yes, should be two wires attached to the jack - hot and ground. Sounds like you're missing the ground. Quick solder job is all that's required, as Robb said.
