I was actually thinking of buying one of the Vinyl to Mp3 turntables a few months ago. I have heard some people say the quality is bad, but others, like the writer of that article says it is fine.

I used to have my dad's turntable from the 60's that is still considered top-notch today. I got one of these and did not feel like my sound quality decreased drastically. It's cheap, works super well, and its an all around sturdy machine. Go for it dude...

Looks like Im gonna go with a Rega P1. Im gonna try calling some places locally to see if they stock it. If not, Im gonna be forced to order it online and pray that the shipping company is responsible.
