Mostly because I'm seeing places that I've heard about, and stuff.

Example: t'other day I went for an interview new Victoria station. And it turned out to be on the same street as Scotland Yard! (Which had a big-ass copy wielding a big-ass rifle standing outside).

This week I've worked for Ralph Lauren, on Bond Street (!), which is 3 streets over from Saville Row! (Which is just a street or so over from Regent Street).

And, walking around, I found the Vine Street (from Monopoly) :D

Plenty of other stuff, of course. But it's quite nifty.

I will be in London in December/January.

I wanna go to Abby Road, do the Ripper Tour, see some other shit. Should be good. I am only there in transit though before and after going to Ireland and doing a continki tour.

How do you get to Abbey Road Markus?

Give me the directions from the hotel I will be staying at which I dont know the name of. Surely there isnt more than one

Yeah never done Contiki before. I am flying to London on 16 Dec and making my way to Ireland for a mates wedding on 21st. Then travelling up to Scotland and surrounds for a week or so before getting back to London for Contiki which kicks off on 28th. Contiki is 16 days going to Amsterdam, Italy, Munich, Switzerland, Rome, Netherlands, Paris and a few others that I cannae remember. :headbang:

I've done two so far - New Zealand in 2000 and NT in 2001. Haven't done one since though. Be warned that it can take a lot out of ya, but it's top stuff. :)

I'm planning on doing a Europe one next year, probably in December and probably one of the longer ones. Might do Great Britain while I'm there - pity the winter one doesn't go to Ireland. :(

The Neverwhere book was based on the six part BBC TV series from 1996. I have a very wobbly VHS copy, and am waiting in vain for the DVD to be released anywhere outside America. Top stuff indeed from the pen of Mr. Gaiman, not that I'd expect any less of him :).
