I totally agree with this. It's fine with me that true metal stays "underground". A lot of people, the "majority", don't think for themselves and want to be force fed pre-packaged bullshit. This is why simple shit sells in music (Examples: boy bands, Creed, blink-182, "Titney" Spears, Christina Aguilara, etc...) and "complex, thought provoking, thinking men/womens music" only appeals to the "minority". (Examples: NEVERMORE, Death, Testament, Slayer, Meshuggah, VoiVod, Dream Theater, Spiral Architect, Opeth, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and numerous other metal bands.)
