and it was really great! thoughts:
1. The ending SUCKED. The pacing, the substance, everything. The very last thirty seconds was horrendous and the whole last five minutes or so was pointless.
2. Pre-Nazi Germans are hilarious. They run around shaking their fingers and fists in the air and shouting things like SCHLUMPF!!! and getting really worked up. This could simply be since it was an early film and people still thought they had to act like it was a theatre, but it's incredibly over-the-top.
