There was a story about them attempting to get a transgendered person the right to be nominated as Prom King at a high school.

I'd give him both the Prom King and Prom Queen awards and tell him/her/it to go fuck themself.
Well, they should. But sadly, it doesn't seem that the Professor had tenure, so they could fire him for whatever the fuck reason they want to. Knowing how Universities work, I am guessing they just didn't like the guy and wanted him gone and this was the "reason."
