Does anybody have any?? I don't have any of the albums so i was wondering how they are. I think i'd start at Burnt Offerings. I have Horror Show, Something Wicked, and Dark Saga, i just never bought the earlier albums for some weird reason...

you should. the first 2 are the best. i havent heard the re-issue though so i dont know if they fucked up the mix or whatever they did to them.

first album sounds really nice now, i'd get that, and the next album after (Night of the Stormrider)
I have the box set, which I'm assuming is the same as the re-releases. They all sound much better than the originals. I still don't like the vocalist on their first 2 CDs, though.

Im with JIM here. GET THE BOXED SET. They sound much BETTER than the old releases, plus ytou get the demo, and teh cover cd. The cover cd is awsome I tell you.AWSOME. ITs great stuff, the highlight of teh whole set.
Here's another vote for the box set ... remixes are excellent, and you get the Spinal Tap-esque band story (...and now we're huge, we're opening for Judas Priest in 2001, er, but the tour got cancelled!). Makes you wonder why Jon is always shuffling the lineup because, with the exception of Barlow, none of his personnel moves made much of a difference (and I like Shawver better than Tarnowski).
Im willing to bet the current lineup will stay current....the band is getting big and Jon cant afford any more changes, but you never know...
