"Neumann Soundengineering Contest 2003"
http://www.neumann.com/contest/Contest_2003.zip
It's a series of questions, and "match the sound samples to the pictures" parts with a very cool interface. It involves microphone placement, patterns, combinations, etc. as well as acoustics, stereophony, phase, instruments and a whole bunch of other stuff. It's not only good for evaluating yourself but also helps you improve and also enriches your knowledge (you can download the detailed answers and compare them to the ones you've given.

It's a lot of fun, too, though it gets frustrating on some of the questions. I managed to get the entire Part 1 (first 12 questions) right apart from 1 of the soundclips of the Cello.

There's some really valuable stuff in it. I'm sure even the most advanced and knowledgeable engineers can learn something.

I had absolutely no idea with the piano, cello, etc... And how do you determine the order of importance of woodwinds/brass? Some really cool stuff.

It says the order is not of importance ;)
You just have to determine which of the instruments are brass instruments and which aren't.

thanks buddy, really cool stuff. makes me wish i had studied "tonmeister", especially when there was this excercise where you had to tell which note was wrong (i honestly couldnt find the wrong notes...)

i recommend this to everyone here, who wants to fine tune their ears.

thanks for posting that stuff!
