Alga means ‘forward’ in Crimean Tatar language. We have dedicated the song to Crimean Tatars. In fact, the track is sung on behalf of this people.

Before Alga, IGNEA has been acting under another title — Parallax. Within Parallax, the band has released an EP Sputnik and a joint track Petrichor with Yossi Sassi (ex-guitarist of Orphaned Land).
