i just joined these forums yesterday, but i've been lurking for a couple months. also i started listening to heavy metal during the summer of 2005 and I haven't looked back. The top 25 most played on my iPod used to be alternative, punk, emo, but now almost all of the songs are metal. This site kicks ass, and i hope to discover the best metal has to offer here.
