Imac Ram upgrade time!

Ok,

I have a late 2009 imac core 2 duo that is starting to lag on large track counts on Pro Tools!

Just looking for your opinion on which ram to get? And does it really matter which manufacture i buy from? Will i notice any difference?

My options are -

Corsair - 4 GB - SO DIMM 204-pin - DDR3 - Euro - 89.00

Crucial - "Same spec" Euro - 129.00

Kingston - "Same spec" - Euro - 128

OWC - "Same spec" - USD 140

I'd go for the Corsair, the price differences are just too high for the little difference there would be - if there were some - anyway.

I always go with G Skill or Crucial, they tend to be the best for the least money. Unless you REALLY fag out on quality for price, your ram should run fine.

IIRC Kingston has a lifetime warranty on all their ram modules
