I am really digging Imminent Sonic Destruction's debut Recurring Themes. Without a doubt, Recurring Themes will be in the running for my #1 favorite album for 2012.
For Prog Metal fans there are some obvious extended opus extraordinaires. Dream Theater's Metropolis - Part 1 and Symphony X's The Divine Wing's of Tragedy certainly come to mind as examples. After listening 10 times in a row to the last track off of Recurring Themes, I think that we can add the 17 minute Raven to the list of lengthy masterpieces.
Here Raven is in two parts:

If you haven't already done so, do yourself a favor and buy Recurring Themes. It would be great to have Imminent Sonic Destruction grace the stage at PP in the not too distant future. Yes, I am gushing. :Spin:
