New York death metal giants IMMOLATION have released the music video for the song "The Distorting Light" off their latest album, "Atonement". The clip was created and directed by Robert Vigna while Angelo Damanti handled the camera work and served as the technical advisor and equipment specialist. The band performance was filmed at Dark City Studios in Yonkers, New York IMMOLATION will spend the remainder of the year touring in support of "Atonement". The disc was recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios in Millbrook, New York with longtime producer Paul Orofino, and was mixed and mastered once again by Zack Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH, SUFFOCATION). Bassist/vocalist Ross Dolan recently confirmed that IMMOLATION has started work on the follow-up to "Atonement". The band's tenth studio LP, "Atonement" was the first to feature former INCANTATION guitarist Alex Bouks. Ross described the new music's direction as "dark" and "more sinister" with "a real creepy kind of vibe."
