And Maylene is Jesus rock, last I heard. I can ignore em.

Yes they sing about Christ, who cares? Their music rules. I understand you can't find them on Metal Archives, and that the dungeon masters who actually review bands there probably wouldn't rate them very high so I guess that means I answered my own question. I guess the metal nerd coalition gives you extra true points for not liking Christian bands and admitting as such on the internet?

I'll have to check out the other bands since I haven't heard of them before, but I'll be going regardless just to see tesseract. Can't wait for the full length coming this march.

Protest the Hero is quite superior to TesseracT. But should be a good show, and I'll go if it comes to Atlanta.

I disagree with Ben, as I think that both Kezia and Fortress are excellent (and are their only true full album releases).

And It's here I get on the soapbox to point out that not everyone here comes from a christian background to begin with, and really doesn't want it pushed in their face.

And yet they have a grand total of 4 direct references to Jesus (and none using the words Jesus or Christ) on the first two records combined (haven't heard the most recent).

What's that about their music pushing Christianity in your face?

Have you ever even listened to them?

You've never even heard them, so how can you make the connection that they try to push an agenda on the listener? There are many Christian bands that aren't dogmatic. I'm a militant atheist and if I can enjoy this band then so can you. Stop trying to look e-cool with the other metal elitist dorks. This is the internet, nobody cares.

high five AS

just realized this tour is hitting Atlanta the day before Easter!!! How crazy!! Must be divine intervention from all that Jesus rock.

The irony is that there are alot of "secular" bands that are arguably more Christian than Maylene, such as Rhapsody (who I also love).

Ratzinger is sponsoring the tour.
