What a bad show :(

It was the first show on their European Tour in Hamburg / Germany!

And it was a really bad show! Support Acts: Pain and Soilwork - And both really sucked!! :(

The In Flames show was so fucking shitty! Bad sound, and Rockstar shit things! Drinking during the songs....

Sometimes I thought that Korns jonathan Davis was standing in front of me! :D

yeah..last I heard when Clayman came out they didn't play much of the older material off Jester, and Whoracle, and only a little of Colony..they focused largely upon promoting Clayman. I assume now that Reroute to Remain is out, it and Clayman will be the main focus..and thats fuckin' sad.

I thought they kicked ass live but if I had my way I would have fed my friend some beans and them lit his ass on fire aiming it at the band burning thier KORN clothes off and the dreads. Enough of that shit. Why do all bands have to copy other bands and shit. Specially mainstream american garbage trash shit fuck.

Sat

i have always been told that in flames rock live, the latest album looks ok but i havent heard anything off it yet, in my opinion in flames got shitter with every album they brought out, jester race, whoracle and colony kicked ass, i think the rest of them are bit weak........ah well

Wow...I'm actually appalled right now!! I've seen In Flames 5 times now-including their first American performance at Milwaukee a few years ago, and I loved every second of it. I thought they were always fucking inspirational live. Energetic, hungry, and tight, every single time. I didnt know there were that many people out there who thought they sucked live. Were the crowds pretty uninterested and not gettin' nutty for them? Maybe that could do it. Who knows. Cuz every time I've seen them, it's been packed with a pretty loud and rowdy crowd. Maybe there's just a good market for their stuff out here in the upper midwest. But, I personally think theyre a killer live band.

I saw them support Iced Earth earlier this year in NYC and they stole the show. Seeing In Flames live ruled - they were awesome.

After reading several reviews of that concert, I was given the impression that In Flames was by far the worst at that show. People were complaining that they were trying to sound too nu-metallish, and that they weren't really showing any energy at all. But then again, I wasn't there so I can't form any solid opinions.

That couldn't be further from the truth - In Flames ruled. I'm not sure what "trying to sound too nu-metal" means because they simply played a variation of songs up to Clayman (which I love as much as Jester Race).

Their energy was amazing, and I love that "Star Wars" Gothenburg backdrop they use on stage. Put it this way, after In Flames finished their set, most people left the main floor.

(I tell you who lacks energy by the way - Iced Earth. Other than Matt Barlow, the rest of the band don't even move. They're an awesome band, but they don't understand the concept of "stage presence").
