IN FLAMES vocalist Anders Friden has new project

PASSENGER is the new project featuring IN FLAMES vocalist Anders Friden, ex-TRANSPORT LEAGUE drummer Patrik J. Sten, GARDENIAN guitarist Niclas Engelin (ex-IN FLAMES), and HEADPLATE bassist Håkan Skoger (ex-Gardenian). The band completed work on their as-yet-untitled debut album at Gothenburg's Studio Fredman.

Passenger, whose music is being described as "a cross between DEPECHE MODE and ROB ZOMBIE, with a lot of groove and catchy choruses," are currently shopping around for a record deal. An early 2003 release is expected.

Good, for a moment I thought this news would be of Ceremonial Oath :/ Reducing a band like that to an "Anders Friden" project would be an insult (not to mention he is obviously the weakest link).
