Did you watch the end of it? He totally just implies that he doesn't deserve the medal. It's unreal.

I've seen several of his interviews. In a way he's correct, but he also accepts that being awarded the Medal of Honor reflects more than his own personal actions. He was simply chosen as being the recipient that reflects the average soldier doing his job.
