Among the Horrors
Posting a link to the booklet written by 2 time Medal of Honor recipient USMC Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler. To all those who served and/or died to pad the pockets of the Titans of Industry, we cry for you on this day.

War is a Racket.

Thanks to all who have nobly served our country with integrity and honor; for us and most importantly themselves. These gifts confer no rights, but all the respect in the world.

I've seen several of his interviews. In a way he's correct, but he also accepts that being awarded the Medal of Honor reflects more than his own personal actions. He was simply chosen as being the recipient that reflects the average soldier doing his job.
