Yeah I think that's why the hats stood out for me so much, they usually sound pretty shit in live recordings.

Why do people say guitars instead of guitar? He can only play one guitar at a time. I've always found it funny that bands pluralise all the instruments except for the bass. No one is ever credited with playing "basses".
