Greetings friends and family. I am sad to announce a very good friend of ours has passed on Thanksgiving Day. My friend is Mario Guiterrez. He was the guitarist for L.A. based Brainstorm with fellow friend Jagger Heatley ( R.I.P.) and for Engraved. He was shot and killed the very same day we all enjoyed a meal with our family and friends. He will be missed immensely.
In learning of this senseless crime the family asked if we can gather the troops and join together in burying him with dignity. The lack of funds and the time that has elapsed is making the family worry some. I am sure you can understand?
My very good friend Adrian Villanueva has contacted the family (Mario's Mom) and learned of this recently. Adrian has contacted me and several others to help out in anyway we can. Just like when we would get together playing in bands. We organize it together in the name of metal.
