Smyth has been in Testament since 1999 or so. Murphy had that cancer thing, so he's been down & out for a bit. I think he's recovered pretty well now, though.

As if I didn't already know how to sweep properly.. 
He's showed me some really cool sweeping and scalar patterns, soloing techniques and ideas, and we've analyzed some real cool tunes, Nevermore, Soilwork, Arch Enemy, Ozric Tentacles. Lots of great stuff.

Ugh, that band had so much potential, but the main songwriter unfortunately had to sell all his gear to pay the rent. Such is life in the ludicrously expensive Bay Area.

I'd LOVE to but I don't think it'll work out.
we'll be leaving wednesday morning and arrive in NY at around 2.30pm leaving the airport, get a bus to grand central station and then a train to Pleasantville...I hope to arrive there at 5-6 pm
thursday to NY again visiting I don't know what yet..friday checking out Pleasantville and in the evening leaving for Washington DC (=Da Capitol?)
spending there the weekend I guess and then...?
well a week and a half to get to the other side of the states and back haha.
We will have an internet connection though...I'll let you know...but I don't think it'll work out.
