Hate trying to describe/promote my own band...but... Paradise Lost have always served as a major source of influence for us, so have Katatonia and Anathema as well, but to a slightly lesser degree. Musical influences in all honour - it's life itself which presents you with the greatest deal of inspiration; and that's what we're all about - presenting you with the many downsides of this mess.. We play some sort of dark rock/metal, and have previously received plenty of encouraging & inspiring feedback from various diverse sources around the world.

Since our last round of asskissing-in-search-for-feedback, we've recorded new material and released a self-financed MCD. It would be nice to hear what you ppl have to say about some of the new material.

Mp3's are available for download at our website - http://www.invain.cjb.net

The tune "No Sign of Yesterpride" comes highly recommended; http://user.tninet.se/~yhy296u/In_Vain_-_No_Sign_of_Yesterpride.mp3

Cheers

sorry to tell you, but there already is a band called In Vain...

Actually, there are plenty (know of at least two more bands - excluding this - going under this name).

This bunch o' germans seem just as unsigned as we do, so......feck it..?

yep, sure, but's annoying to change names when signing a deal. the people just got to know you under that old name, now when you have to change it, you will have to do a lot over again... better choose a unique name as soon as possible, for later there could be more problems...
