i've never had an interest in sushi or sushi establishments, but tonight was the night.
i passed on the sake but downed two sapporos and proceeded to impale whole futo maki slices with my tongue. soy droplets spacked all over the shirt entrails jutting out from under my sweater. man, what an embarassment.
in other news, the chef unsuccessfully attempted to catch shrimp rubbish in his shirt pocket and my friends make me uncomfortable. apparently it was closing time, as the hostess and assorted others kept grabbing our plates while the food was still steaming. i was the first to get my dish but was too embarassed to start until everyone else got theirs fifteen minutes afterwards.
this was $25 i could have spent on an eternity of ramen.
