The song is clipping as hell or I am hearing wrong.

It's clipping as hell, was one of those situations where going back to fix it wasn't worth it.

If the clipping comes from the recording and not the mix or master, yes, you cant do much.

The mix doesnt sound bad, besides the clipping. The guitars are quite buried in the mix but somehow fits the context.
