Yeah! I used to get trains for free but my damn pass things ran out and with me being in full-time work I can no longer use it!
Anyway plane tickets are only £25 return to London...and I happen to still have 2 spare return flights to London that I previously purchased! If i pay just an extra £10 I can change the dates of them....which is better than not using then at all aint it!

cryin' shame, you'd have loved it (The band definitely did), the only downer were the large proportion of Nazi-skinheads there, they don't seem to realise that Atilla is not some white-power activist, what with a Nazi being responsible for his years of drug addiction and depression (he was close to Euronamous and was devastated when he was murdered). Also his newest band, Born To Murder The World is super-group of him, Irrumator, Necrobutcher and Shane of Napalm Death... I don't think a fachist is gonna be in a band with Napalm Death members somehow...

If any of you are going to Inferno then check out Aborym, they were possibly the best live band I've ever encountered

i speak to attila often on Msn, he is a fucking cool, down to earth guy.
wow thats pretty cool, i was talking to Mick (Kenny) at the earache Xmas bash, he was telling me ALL about he's "drumming" for aborym. he's been pissing him self cos he's done some drum loops for one track & the metal grape vine says he's live drumming!! .... well he found it funny tho his rather on the drunk side ... no change there then.

Must e-mail him and ask what Drum Machine he uses, my bands Guitarist was supposed to E-mail you about Drum machines actualy but I gether he got sidetracked... git:p He forgot to book tickets for Zyklon on satday as well. (Memory like a seive... with the grill missing)

we used to use ... & still do sometime, Boss Dr Rhythum, does the trick. you'r hardist problem tho is on stage cos you can FEEL the drums behind you, its harder to stay in time. if you want to know more about your best off talking to tom (will pm his address to you)

Thanks. I should stress that we don't WANT to use drum machines but the lack of any deacent drummers who are interested in Death metal leaves us with no choice. Like you guys we're not going to let missing drums kill us.

You do not know anyone who is talented enough and who likes death metal?
That is rather suprising!
Every drummer I know is excellent and they are all death metal drummers! Some of them are very talented...one guy I know is better than a lot of professional bands....his feet move at crazy speeds..hehe!
I was quite fancying being a drummer in a death metal band myself...I can't play drums yet but at band practise 2 times a week I have 10 minute goes on the drums and i'm getting good at them now! Everyone says the style I use would suit death metal.
There is also death/thrash metal gigs up here all the time with local bands.

Aye just don't give up the fight! It gets frustrating like. I've wrote enough material to do about 2 damn albums worth now (after filtering out the average bits) and 1 of the guitarist has some amazing riffs but for a year we have not been able to find a good enough singer! :( Sometimes I think i'm just going to give up when it gets to me...haha but I never will, i'm actually getting singing lessons myself now :p

Yeasss, thats the spirit, to begin with I couldn't sing and culdn't write lyrics for toffee, but now I've got a good range of vocals and my band mates love all my lyrics (I write in a Zyklon esq. manner, you know withlots of metaphores and philosiphy)

a lack off drummers (in general) spells the end for a lot of young bands ... i know another band in america called 'ground xero' they're also a drum machine band ... but will have our drummer rich recording the live drums for thier next cd ... its kinda cross atlantic metal exchange. rich aint going anywhere, he's recording the drum tracks in england then sending them overseas ... quite mad really

I only know two good drummers - Both dont like death metal. One is already in a band and hes fuckin awesome.

Im the guitarist Bale was talkin about....

I do have a memory like a sive without the mesh.

:headbang:

One of Manchester's biggest thrash acts, Verm, actualy perform live with a drum machine.

And I've yet to have a drummer make it to band practice.

Drummers must be a cursed race....
