Hello there!
Another mixing competition has just ended. Tagarot were kind enough and recorded full band cover of Eluveitie hit "Inis Mona", and as a result we had pretty good track to work with. Here are few commentaries:
1. Guitars are full IGNITE amps. IMHO if you need "one" amazing guitar and bass tone you just don't need to spend your money on commercial amsims. Emissary nad SHB (with a help from their TScreamers, poweramp and IRloader) are just enough.
2. Alot of EQs and compressors are on those tracks so I'll just name few: TDR SlickEQ, Nova, Kotelnikov; Variety of Sounds Ferric (LOVE this one!), nastyDLA, epicVerb, Thrillseekers, Density, Baxter, Vlad'sG Molot (absolute BEAST!), Limiter No6, alot of GVSTs.
So, let the hatestorm begin, I'm waiting for comments, criticisms and questions
