After six weeks of recording, we're finally getting to the mix. The material is sounding killer (if i do say so myself :Smug: :)) and I can't wait to hear the final mix.
After work is complete there will be a full studio report plus pics etc and this will be on our newly lauched site that webmaster Chris is designing as we speak.
There will also be a news post soon of a potential underworld show coming up, tbc.
If you visit the site please sign the guest book...:D

Regards,
Sean

btw regaring the PQ footie team. Nick and i will be at Wacken and would be up (well i haven't asked Nick yet but i'm sure he would) to helping out. I'm midfield/forward and Nick's midfield i think

Thanks Eagle, yeah, i like the t-shirt too. She's called Victoria and is a character from one of our songs call "Path of the Dark". Another bit of news is that we're hoping to have a credit card facility on the new site to make ordering easier for people that wish to do so.

C103 ??? That sucks ...

Btw...i know the puke smilie is overdoing it a bit, but i don't think i'd used it before so it had to be done :)

Us old-schoolers still call it JFKs ;) well, I'm hardly an old-schooler but it's still JFs/Jaffa Cakes to me ^_^

Okay Eagle....any preferences on venues...i.e. decent ones?

I’d like to say Hull but Hull’s metal scene is shit unless you like Slipknot. You could probably get a gig in The Adelphi which is a dive but it has character and the sound is quite good. Blaze played there a few years back and Infobia play there sometimes. I don’t know what sort of turn out you’d get but I think it would be reasonable good. I suppose it would depend and how it would be promoted.

I probably think the best place for you might be Newcastle Trillians, that’s basically just a rock pub but it has a bit of history. The Studio in Hartlepool is also a very good venue but again I don’t know what Hartlepool’s metal scene is like (You’d be best asking DragonMaiden)

The other 2 clubs I tend to use are Bradford Rios and Nottingham Rock City. Both are pretty big venues and you need a few hundred people in to get a good atmosphere.

I'm going to Sheffield Corporation club tomorrow night for the first time so I'll let you know what that's like.

Hartlepool's metal scene is as dire as Hull's so I wouldn't suggest The Studio even though it an excellent venue. Trillion's caters more for rock rather then metal and the view of the stage is crap!! Leeds might be a good bet. Dragonforce play there on Saturday week. Can't remember the name of the venue but Eagle will as he and Lydian Lady are going!! Hope this helps! :)

Thanks Dragonmaiden...it certainly does. It's pretty handy as our bassist Ady is sessioning for DF so he can do some recon for us :)
It's always helpful to get some info on venues you've never seen, it's along drive to be dissapointed by a poor venue/pa etc etc
