Was just listening to a Vinnie Vincent interview, according to him, Dana Strum (bassist from VVI and Slaughter) was the person responsible for Randy joining Ozzy's band.... and also apparently Dana played some bass tracks on the first 2 Ozzy albums?

I have never heard this before but it's interesting.... hmmmm.

There is the link to that part of the interview, he says it at about 1:20.

Reckon there could be any truth in that???

And the 'Blizzard of Ozz' album was virtually recorded before Randy even joined the band. Daisley and Kerslake had already laid down the rhythm tracks while Ozzy was still too drug-fucked to do anything, so I'm unsure if Strum had much to do with the actual recordings.
