The re-rceording og World Asylum with Mike's vocals still doesn't make that album a good listening experience....
To me I didn't care because I experienced Leatherwolf for the first time in my life with Wade Black live at the ProgPower VII pre-show. I love the sheer energy of that line-up and I bought all thier albums as soon as the show was over. Wade and Dean signed my booklet, so for me the original album is the one which counts and it's a pretty solid album IMO.

They actually re-titled the album New World Asylum... how clever...
Yeah that was bright, isn't it?
They should have just tried their hand at a new album rather than pulling a Jon Schaffer...
One of the biggest disappointings in the last year was losing Leatherwolf dates in Europe during 2007. I love "Street ready" and "Leatherwolf". Masterpieces IMO.
About the interview, too much personal questions and not many issues about Leatherwolf (it seems journalist knows quite well Olivieri and maybe he has done previous interviews with him).
About "World asylum" I recognize I got mixed feelings before listening the album. It´s somewhat personal but, for me, No Olivieri=No Leatherwolf, as simple as that. Nothing against Wade Black but curiously it happens something similar with Crimson Glory. No Midnight=No Crimson Glory.
However I consider "World asylum" (without blowing my mind) is far better than Crimson Glory´s "Astronomica".
