BEYOND EAR CANDY Metal Radio will be broadcasting an interview with Timo Kotipelto on Sunday, April 22 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time. The phone interview was recorded a few weeks ago and he talks in great length about the new CD, Serenity as well as a number of other topics.

I will be in the ProgPower USA chatroom if anyone needs help connecting to the radio.

The interview was edited quite a bit for radio play, but still is about 40 minutes long. ;-) I will be posting a full transcript in the next few days.
Hope you all enjoy it!

20 min. and hopefully all will go smoothly. I recorded and intro, but Dave the radio tech guru had a big family gig going onto today and didn't get it loaded, so hell with it. Hope everyone comes to the chat room. Should be fun.

Ok! Sorry to all the folks that didn't get to hear the interview the two times it was broadcasted on the BEC radio. We may play it a third time, since we've had so many requests. Would help to know the times people usually listen to the radio. Please let us know.

But anyway, the transcript of the interview is now posted on BeyondEarCandy.com. I left in some things I had to edit from the radio version, so it is quite long. Still, I think you may enjoy it.

We are looking into posting the audio version as an on-demand stream from the website since so many people still want to hear it. I'll let you know if that becomes possible.

Well, we are all enjoying Serenity very much. Please support Timo and purchase the CD. It is well worth it and I hope you all enjoy the interview.

Cheers! :kickass:

Hi A-M, this is great interview, thanks for sharing. I almost forgot it coming out on BEC last Sunday; remembered it the minute I was getting to bed at midnight and missed the first 5 mins which it took me to find and plug in the headphones and start up my computer again. Now I did read it all again.

I admire how you always seem to get the people you interview feel so relaxed that they'll end up talking about themselves more than they usually do in interviews. (Comes to mind our 2 hr session with John Two-Hawks in Helsinki  ) You've got the touch, indeed. Timo seems to be very friendly and easygoing person; too bad he doesn't have a gig booked on the days you'll be here this summer. (And obviously there won't be a Tarot gig in that timeframe either :erk: )
