I would say that Into the abyss is prolly my least favorite album of the "Peter" era
it suffers a bit from the production and it sounds to me like...plain death metal...well what I mean it that the magical touch of hypocrisy is less evident in that one
but of course, it remains a good album, with some kickass songs on it, like Blinded, Resurrected, Unleash the beast, Fire in the Sky, Digital Prophecy and Deathrowes is just AWESOME
but b4 getting Into the abyss I strongly recommand The final Chapter AND the self titles album, two masterpieces beyond understanding!!!

What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse
It's a good but not great back-to-basics-rip-your-face-off-death-fucking-metal album. Best song Fire in the Sky sounds like what Hypocrisy does best, the alien themed stuff.
