we're very excited about this!:headbang::kickass:

Chicago-based metallers ION VEIN have partnered with Mortal Music to release the band's new music worldwide.

Commented ION VEIN guitarist/founder Chris Lotesto: "We are very happy to announce that we've partnered up
with Mortal Music to get the new ION VEIN music out to the masses the way we've always envisioned it could be
done. We've been friends for a long time and these guys just get it, they're always trying to push the envelope on
how things are done, and it's quite refreshing actually! We're really looking forward to doing some great and innovative
things together; it's going to be a really exciting time for all of us!"

Added Mortal Music's Rob Such: "Always great working with forward-thinking bands who are on the same page, and
ION VEIN is definitely one of those bands. We're especially excited about this partnership because ION VEIN will be
the first Mortal Music band to implement our new philosophy and release strategies... which we're hoping will be a
significant game-changer in helping the music industry evolve in a very positive way. Can't wait!"

ION VEIN has been hard at work with producer Neil Kernon (NILE, NEVERMORE, QUEENSRŸCHE, REDEMPTION),
wrapping up vocal tracks and getting songs ready to mix/master. This will mark the band's first release with new
vocalist Scott Featherstone.

Good luck guys....

Just curious. Around 2006, before Russ left, you guys had a lot of new tunes in the setlist.
I recall one called "Enough" for example.

Are these songs all scratched, with the recent line up changes?

Sweet, yeah, the most memorable Ion Vein gigs that I have seen were probably the HOB show with Sonata Arctica, and then Powerfest 2006.
You guys weren't doing too much from the CDs anymore, but the new stuff was powerful!
