"Rare Maiden TV show special for Channel 4
IRON MAIDEN spent Sunday, December 10 at Abbey Road studios in London taking part in a special performance for the new Channel 4 (U.K.) series "Live at Abbey Road", according to an online posting from MAIDEN manager Rod Smallwood. "We don't do much TV, as you know — indeed we don't get offered much!!! — and there is not a lot we would want to do, anyway, but this was a bit special and it was good to have metal included in a show like this," he wrote. "It was recorded in the big Abbey Road studio but more with a documentary feel than video. The list of artists appearing is very impressive...."
Goes out on More 4 on January 12, on C4 after that"
